Valentines day is coming up and I am not going to give you anything. I told you I didn't want to get involved with anybody this month. Call me next month and I am not going to any of those "couples" parties either. Don't get me wrong I do Believe In A Thing Called Love. Love is expensive. It is better to have loved and lost, than to never to have loved at all. I tried my best to keep her satisfied. I have one of those neighbors, you know the old woman who has random visitors and uses alot of water all the time. I know she uses a lot of water because I can hear it running - like all the time. I wonder if she is some kind of marine animal, disguised as human, plotting world domination. Nobody suspects the old people, it is a masterful plan. I watched what was undoubtedly the best episode of hbo: taxi cab confessions yesterday. Near to the end of the show 2 girls came into the taxi and sang "I will survive" topless - that was so money! Then to top it off the guy passenger said "This is so crazy, I wish I had a camera". February something was Bob Marley's 60th birthday here in Jamaica and also "National No Murder Day". Until next week walk good.

Sometimes when your outside and walk past a man (or woman) on the street singing "Porcelain". And you wonder to yourself how much money can you make singing on the street and what are the tax benefits. Imagine the amount of songs you could choose from, no copyright issues or anything like that and after you have saved up a bit you could learn a instrument, start a band and buy a tour bus. Another semester has come to pass and a new one begins. I know I failed calculus because I am not perfect - I have my flaws. This semester we have Java, subjectB and subjectC. I also have to get a laptop which will be an apple ibook if all goes well. It is not about "thinking different", or something profound life style or virus protection. No, I just want something that glows in the dark. Driving lessons are progressing smoothly and I am getting accustomed to manual gears but it seems to be far too much work on the feet. It is as if I am walking while driving - automatic transmission is the way to go. I look forward to paying insurance in the future, changing oil and running over stray animals on the side of the road.

i learned to drive an automatic vehicle just the other day. i had never driven one before, it wasn't to hard, i just had to keep holding off the urges to do anything with my feet.

It has only been 3 days and as I sit here reading the april 2003 edition of Vanity Fair, I have a sour throat and no internet access. My sister is a novel slash magazine freak. Some suspense others love romances from a woman's perspective. Paperback with far too many adjectives. Not much in the way of entertainment but it give me a way to pass the time. Usually I would scan though the novel looking for the point at which somebody actually has sex, which usually happens once or twice in a paperback novel. Novels of the same publisher usually insert the sex approximately at the same place in the book. It is as in the case of a lifetime movie in which the sex is not necessary but makes the whole male / female relationship seem normal. That is before everything gets all crazy and he tries to kill her with a kitchen knife (it is always his fault). My sister loves Lifetime Movie Network. I like the pictures in Vanity Fair not because of the white women but mostly because of how crisp and artsy they are. The articles are not worth much and usually get truncated to the back of the magazine - not cool. Looking at the pictures makes me want to get a digital camera. I had recently discovered (several years ago) that I am the least photographed person in my family and getting a camera will ensure that this does not happen to anyone else.
At the end of 2003 I went to visit my sister in florida for 2 weeks. This page 1 of 2 from the captain's log earth date 2003.12.17.10.30.003;
After the flight arrived and by some miracle my 20 year old nephew and I made it outside of the airport terminal, found a phone and called a number. We had nothing to do but stand outside waiting in the cold midday sun. After arriving at the airport in a foreign country it is always a catch 22 situation where chances are you might stay there forever and never be found again. I always have this in my mind which is why I have not been to Japan yet.
The ride came 2 maybe 3 hours later just before I was put on life support. Then we were off though a countless array of intersections, freeways, highways, extended avenues and an endless void of empty streets to our destination.
We stopped at Wendy's and I had the first thing on the menu because I was drawing a map back to the airport. Unfortunately my sense of distance, time and space was messed up because everything looked exactly the same like a lifetime movie. We veered off the highway/street/avenue etc into an apartment complex.
The apartment complex had an electronic gate and ever expanding greenery. After further examination I discovered it was all man-made. You could smell it in the air. The apartments were aligned in groups of six each with perfectly cut grass lawns, little hills and a pond complete with fish, ducks and sprinkler - it was perfect. I think the grass never grew any higher than required - technology is a wonderful thing. Not like in Jamaica where everything is a random natural occurence - if you see a pond chances are it has been there forever - no - florida is like a zoo. Randomness is good, keeps things interesting.
My only problem was the being cold on a sunny day. what the hell is up with that? The sun is shining should it not be hot or at least warm? I spent the rest of the day watching the Matrix reloaded - they did not have cable but had an abundance of rented DVDs and paperback novels. Ridiculous cable rates but I guess that is what you are suppose to be paying.

So apparently its a new year. A new year that started off pretty badly for the people in a republic in southeastern Asia on an archipelago. Sadness. The old year is over. After we got drunk at all the christmas parties we get a chance once again to get our stuff together. And for those people with your stuff together I dislike your dog biscuits. Anyway there is no use reviewing the previous year because if you do not know what happened why should I waste my time telling you?
Disregard the title of this post it is a reference to a Bob Marley song by the same name ( from the Chant Down Babylon album ). What in the world that song was about? Moving on I am going to be starting some new stuff both online and offline, version 5 maybe, nothing outrageous or anything like posting soft porn as some people have requested.
So 2005 is here and there is nothing we can do about it but Alicia Keys needs to stop wearing weird clothes she is beginning to freak me out now. My calculus test has passed and failed gracefully. I am not going to be a punk about it either, so thanks readers, visitors, posters and commenters you have been have been a big help.
