Lyndhurst commented: My mother and father Gwen and Egbert Spencer instructed my brothers and sisters to attend Sunday school as part of our upbringing. We rarely missed a Sunday. On one Sunday afternoon, I asked permission to miss Sunday school. My mom asked why? I told her, Rev. Martin Luther King was going to make an address to the US nation, and I wanted to witness it. She gave me the yes permission. The love she showed each of us has paid off handsomely. May their soles rest in peace. ... read more
