1. My mother and father Gwen and Egbert Spencer instructed my brothers and sisters to attend Sunday school as part of our upbringing.
    We rarely missed a Sunday.
On one Sunday afternoon, I asked permission to miss Sunday school. My mom asked why?
I told her, Rev. Martin Luther King was going to make an address to the US nation, and I wanted to witness it. She gave me the yes permission.
The love she showed each of us has paid off handsomely.

May their soles rest in peace.
