while on a vacation with a few buddies of mine, i decided to shotgun 18 beers. one day. drank another 16 to make the total to 34. good day.

real beer isn't meant for that kind of consumption either.
shotgun:
you take a beer and poke a hole in the side of it and open the top. chug the beer down through the hole and hold the can upright. you should get it down in less than 2 seconds.
having said that, you can't shotgun a beer in a bottle.

Trying to poke holes in a bottle would be awkward. yeah, but two seconds? how big is the hole? what do you use for poking?

yeah, i said two seconds. the hole is about the size of an american quarter (if you know how big that is). about a half an inch (yet again, if you know what that is).
and as far as poking goes, a key for your house works great. infact, its the best thing to use. try it next time you're drinking out of cans. its amazing and its an easy way to get shitfaced.
