Most times when I go out with my camera it is often to a specific location where I take a few pictures and move on because there are not many public places in Jamaica where people can leisurely hang out. I mentioned this a couple years ago when I compared Kingston to Havana Cuba. In Jamaica people are either busy in transit or stuck waiting in a line. It is as if they dont want people to sit anywhere outside at all.
I have found that waiting outside provides oppurtunities for taking photos of people in their natural settings as they go about thier business. There were 3 doors waiting for a lady outside the pharmacy - I guess they follow her everywhere she goes.
Taximen and passengers. Somehow I was outside late in the afternoon which is why the shadows are so long. Not a good time to be doing street photography in jamaica. But eithway I caught a few pictures.
First post of the new year. Of course I am still posting photos from last year because last year was a good year for photos. In this set we ended up in Half-way-tree after some erands. I was shooting in BW for the entire day and converted a few to colour.
