Learning to take pictures of regular things in regular places has brought a whole new point of interest. I have been taking more pictures on the street and always known that people Jamaicans avoid eye contact as much as possible - I am not sure why but it does make it easier to take closeup headshots. These pictures below are totally unrelated to that.

I've been watching tonnes of photography videos on youtube some of the ones I have liked so far are by John Free and Tavis Leaf Glover. Finding interest in your local evironment if very difficult because your brain has already become accustomed to everything interesting that is there causing everything to be old hat. So I'm searching for that hidden meaning that I have forgotten. I'm still working on that new camera vibes.

As I work on getting a new camera I have started practicing with my old camera. I need to iron out the limits of what I can do and the pictures that I can take. One of the objectives of getting a new camera is that I want more detail and I want to be able to capture pictures in more varied situations. Pictures of fast moving subjects have always been difficult to take with my current camera.
