this whole line of questioning implies that one does not answer to oneself and self-respect does not play into the whole scenario. I mean, if you were to cheat at banking, cheat in a relationship, cheat in a domino game--would the winnings be as sweet as if you had taken the straight and narrow and got your gains by strength of will and mad skillz?
