Radio Jamaica is reporting that OLINT’s legal team, led by Lord Anthony Gifford, was in the judge’s chambers in the Turks and Caicos on Monday, July 28, 2008. It is understood from the report that they have started presenting arguments why the assets of OLINT should not be frozen.

I have heard of car dealers luring potential customers with discounts, lower rate financing, first three months free, motor vehicle insurance discounts, free servicing for the first year or so, high-end cellphones with purchase, and even free gas! But I have never heard of any dealer offering a free hand gun with the purchase of a vehicle!...
Some will tell you the best way to deal with corporate politics is to keep a low profile. Some say cozy up to the boss. Some say work the longest hours. Some will tell you it's all about doing exactly what your told when you're told in the exact way you're told. Some will tell you that there is no answer to corporate politics. You're just going to suffer no matter what you do. Get used to it. That's why people buy lottery tickets. I say the simple answer to corporate politics is honesty, integrity, great record keeping, focus, believe in yourself, and a personal mission statement.

THE inflation rate inched up to 9.8 percent in March from 9.4 percent in the previous month, mainly due to the rise in food inflation which rose to 19.7 percent in March from 18.8 percent in April.
The main contributors to the rise in food inflation were increases in the prices of bread and cereal (19.0 percent), fish (37.2 percent), and oils and fats (11.8 percent), according to the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago.
